Will you refund my holding deposit if I don’t get into my course?

Of course. We are happy to refund your holding deposit if you don’t get a place in the course you apply for at university or college.

What credit cards do you accept?

You can pay using Visa, Mastercard, Amex and Diners.

Is there 24 hour onsite assistance?

Yes, there is an house mother onsite at our Belville Property and armed response is available 24×7 to provide our students with support and assistance at any time.

How often is rent paid?

Rental fees are required to be paid once per month, and you are responsible for ensuring that your rent is paid before the 1st of every month in accordance with Zhauns Student Accommodation Rental Agreements.

Do Zhauns Student Accommodation buildings have security?

Yes, all of our properties have CCTV cameras installed throughout the building common areas, entry points and hallways, which operate 24 hours a day. We also operate a finger print access system to the property. In addition all rooms are fully fitted with burglar bars in front of the windows, and there is a secure parking area close to the building for your safety and convenience.

Do I have to book online?

Not at all. You are more than welcome to speak to the friendly team and book directly through them.

Can I stay at Zhauns Student Accommodation for longer than 12 months?

Yes, you can stay for the duration of your study. We will always contact prior to the end of your existing lease to see if you would like to renew and for how long.

Are there students from multiple universities and colleges?

Yes, you will get the chance to meet and mix with students from a wide range of universities and colleges from Cape Town and Stellenbosch.

Are the prices shown per apartment or per person?

The prices quoted are per person, per month.
